Does anyone else believe that stress is a major trigger Also I was on humera for about 4 yrs and it stopped working now I've been on enbril for about 3 years and it's not working as well as it did had anyone else had this problem
Hi . Stress is most definitely a trigger for any autoimmune distress. That can be good stress as well as negative stress. Here is a wonderful article from one of our advocates about minimizing stress that might interest you: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/living/minimize-stress. Unfortunately, many people find that certain biologics become less effective over time. It might be due to progress or it might be that you body builds a tolerance. But there are several others you can try. Here is an article that lists the biologics available for treating RA: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/treatment/biologics-treatment-options-for-ra. I hope this helps and that you get better relief over time. Best wishes. - Lori (Team Member)

Hi . My wife, Kelly Mack (a contributor here), finds aquatic therapy to absolutely be the best. She wrote here about maybe not being able to do what others do in the water, but being the hardest worker in the pool and getting what she needs: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/living/exercise-results. Absolutely 😁 I discovered that during COVID. I left the current employer I had and started my own home small business. Now I also work part-time hours for a friend that is well aware of my health issues. I've been very fortunate.

Hi . Our patient leader Nan wrote here about ways to press pause to destress, including doing some deep breathing: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/living/press-pause. Best, Richard (RheumatoidArthritis.net Team)
