Why isn’t there a variation of medication to use when you “flare”

Hi . This is a great question. I can tell you that my wife, Kelly Mack ( a contributor here), does have a prescription for extra prednisone for flares. She also has guidelines for using over the counter NSAIDS or extra Lyrica, depending on the situation. Kelly was diagnosed at age two, 45 years ago, so she knows her body and RA well and her and her doctor worked out a flare action plan.
