, oh, goodness! I am sorry you aren't feeling well today. Are these symptoms due to your RA or are you coming down with something else? Either way, I hope you take it easy, get some rest, and start feeling better very soon!

Thank you for the very kind response. I really appreciate it. No I dont believe I'm coming down with anything. I had hiatal hernia repair surgery. During the surgery they had to also repair a part of my small intestine. Plus they found a mesenteric defect and repaired that. Then the internal sutures tore from my tissue and caused a pneumothorax, they had to put a drain in. I think my body is just reacting to the stress of it all. If I get stressed RA flares as well as fibromyalgia.

Hi . You certainly have been through a lot, so it is not too surprising that the RA would be acting up. I want to share with you this previous Forum discussion on flu-like symptoms: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/forums/flu-symptoms. Do you happen to have a flare action plan? Kat wrote about hers here: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/living/flare-action-plan. Hoping you manage to nip this flare in the bud. Best, Richard (Team Member)

Wow! That’s a lot for your body to go through. It makes complete sense that you’re feeling the effects after so many complications and stress. Surgeries like that can really take a toll, especially when you’re already managing RA and fibromyalgia. I really hope you’re able to get some rest and let your body recover. You deserve some relief after all that! -Latoya (Team Member)

, oh, goodness! As Richard and Latoya said, that's a LOT! Your poor body! I hope you are able to take the time to rest and heal, although I know healing doesn't always come easy with RA.
