What are your tips on finding a good rheumatologist?
Share your tips with fellow community members! If you haven’t found a good rheumatologist, what challenges have you faced?
My steps for finding a great rheumatologist: 1)Ask nurses, they spend the most time with the doctors. 2) Ask doctors for the top RA doctor in the area. 3) Call the office and see how you are treated. If you have to wait 10 minutes and have a snippy person on the other end, hang up and call elsewhere. 4) Make an appointment and keep it. Only you know if it's a good fit. If the doctor doesn't listen, keep moving. 5) Don't give up!
