My New Med Ruxience

My current update on my life with RA.

RA fatigue still present

So after my 2 infusions of Ruxience about the 2-3 days after I start with the fatigue. I currently am still having this fatigue, but hope it clears up soon.

I made a mistake and went completely off my Celebrex re comments on it at rheumatologist appointment. I went down to 1 per day then, I don't know why, but I stopped them.

I have inflammation now that's affecting me and my life.

Restarting Celebrex

I finally realized what I was missing so started back on the Celebrex yesterday morning (late morning that is).

I will continue with 2 per day when at a good state then will decrease to 1 per day. There is always something that seems to come up.

I hope, and pray this is it and things get better and continue to do so with my infusions of Ruxience. May it be the one that finally helps.

How did I miss this update, <inline-mention username="casmere" user-id="3145733"/>?! I am glad you took the time to update us and I hope by now you are seeing some benefits from starting back up on Celebrex. How are you doing this week? Have you noticed any changes (good or bad)? How are you feeling about Ruxience? Could I ask more questions?? Probably 😉 Anyway, I hope you are having a good week and I am sorry I didn't see this update earlier!  Hi <inline-mention username="Erin Rush" user-id="3164667"/> ,Thank you for your interest and the questions. I have seen benefits from the Celebrex, and I have gone down to 1 per day. If ìt flares again, I will increase it, and stay on 2 a day. I am not as fatigued anymore from Ruxience, it is still there and it can hit heavy like a blast. I don't know how to describe it. I do go out, and had 2 days in a row with appointments. The second day was a am one abd a 45 min drive to ut. Was my Rheumatologist for my Bone health. Now, bone density test soon, and at my request, which the Doc confirmed, exrays on my hands, wrists, feet and ankles. This will be good to have for my next month appointment on follow-up re Ruxience. I want to say yes, tto have I noticed any difference with the Ruxience, but thats hard to say right now. This time of year, weather chaning, is hard on the hands, feet, and joints. I have even felt minor ache in my new right hip. It has been somewhat busy this week, but I am good. Thank you for asking. How are things with you? Blessings and Prayers 🙏 Casmere

It is good that you are keeping an eye on whether there is any difference with the Ruxience, as well as noting any other potential causes (the change of seasons). If you do notice anything that you think is attributable to the Ruxience make sure to tell the doctor and, if any issue seems to be a side effect, ask that it be reported FDA. After drugs are through the clinical trials and approval process the reporting system is the primary method of tracking potential side effects. Hoping the pains you are feeling clear up soon. Hi <inline-mention username="Richard Faust" user-id="3227544"/>, thank you for the reminder on having side effects reported. As I live in Canada, it is Canada Health that is equivalent to your FDA. I see my Rheumy for my RA and 2 months follow-up with Ruxience in October.

Sorry posted before was finished. What I have noticed is a very minor fine rash on the top side of my right wrist. It is miinor as I said, and gets itchy the odd time. That is how I noticed it.  I know how difficult it can be to find meds that work, so here’s hoping this one works for you. It took me over twenty years to find one the worked and by then, the damage was done. Now we focus on mainly fixing the damage. I feel like sometimes the side effects are worse than the disease. Hopefully yours won’t be as bad! Keep on keepin’ on, DPM
