Clint Paddison

Has anyone had any success or does anyone have any experience with the Clint Paddison program which claims to reverse RA?

  1. Hi gailann! I know I have seen this mentioned in this community, but I don't know if any of our members have tried it. While dietary changes may help some symptoms, there has been no single diet that has been proven to cure RA. I know some of our members have had some success with dietary changes, but no one person responds to treatments and diets exactly like another. Here is a thought-provoking piece on this topic -- https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/living/why-diet-wont-cure/. Here is some information on Complementary and Alternative Treatments (CAMs) -- https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/alternatives-therapies/. I share this with you because our rule of thumb on ANY treatment or "miracle" cure comes down to this -- if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. That said, I know diet and exercise has really helped some members. But, like any treatment, no one can (or should) guarantee that you will have the same results as someone else. I don't know much beyond the basics about the Paddison program, so I would suggest discussing it with your physician. Good luck and please don't hesitate to reach out, should you have anymore questions. Best, Erin, RheumatoidArthritis.net Team Member.

    1. I have looked into the program and watched lots of his podcasts with people that seem to have good luck finding dietary triggers for their "flares". It takes months of a very restrictive diet that includes juicing cucumbers and celery a lot in the beginning and gradually adding foods one at a time until you find inflammation triggers. It involves finding a Dr willing to do bloodwork and lower RA medications and some say completely get off all meds. It's not a cure but way to control symptoms with diet. Cucumber and celery juice is tough but if it works would be amazing!
