Confuse with which arthrities

Hi all, i have arthrities but my doctor is not reconizeing, i have pain in all joints but no visiable symptoms, no morning stiffness

  1. Hi ! Just want to clarify so I can best help, but have you officially received an RA diagnosis from your doctor? Or are you pretty sure you have RA but no official diagnosis? You may already know this, but if not, sometimes receiving an official RA diagnosis can be challenging. One of the reasons is that one way doctors attempt to confirm RA is through a blood test, but sometimes a blood test will come back negative for RA even if the person has it. Our hub on seronegative RA has lots of good insight into this (https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/seronegative-blood-test). I am not saying this is the case in your specific situation, but just one possibility. It's also possible you may have a different type of arthritis that is not RA. Can you share what your doctor has said so far? Warmly, - Reggie, RheumatoidArthritis.net team member

    1. Thanks for all your replays.... i am asking you guys because in india doctors were only concentrate on making mony with the patients they wont diagnose exactlay, i am asking you guys does anyone have symptoms like this...if i diagnosed RA i am ready to accept but doctors wont tell what happening with the patient, they will tell you dont have diesease, may be you have on that time but you have RA now, my think is RA is cant cure but if they tell truth patient can manage it properly and he can take care.

    2. You're welcome! From what I know everyone's symptoms vary person to person. Some people to have only pain and no symptoms, or morning stiffness. Others have all three, or none or all. So the answer is yes many have had these types of experiences and symptoms. There is also a thing called seronegative RA where test results etc, may not show anything but a couple of symptoms are present making it difficult to diagnose. Here are a couple articles that talk about it from members in our community, Hope it helps and you find relief, and answers soon.

  2. I'm sorry to hear that your doctor isn't taking your symptoms seriously. Have you asked if they would be willing to run any tests despite not having any other symptoms? Sometimes not all of the symptoms have to be present. Highly suggest you bring up the topic again or find another provider who will listen. Hope you find some relief and answers soon. -Effie, team member

    1. Hi there! It is so great you are determined to get an official diagnosis and you're advocating for yourself to find a solution. One quick note is that we cannot offer medical advice here. This is for your safety. The best route would be to follow-up with your doctor OR seek a consultation with a different doctor that might be a better fit. Unfortunately finding an RA diagnosis is often not a straight line. I know that it is frustrating that it is this way. Just wanted to let you know why we can't confirm what is causing your symptoms. 2. Thank you for sharing though we are not allowed to give medical advice and are not doctors. -Effie, team member

  3. My doctor conducted blood test, in that my RA is negative, but my uric acid level is 7.25, so my doctor suggested HCQS and febuget 40, i asked my doctor, do i have RA but he told that you dont have RA and you dont have any autoimmune diesease....but he shows neglence but i went for kidney panel test, heart checkup and stomach chek but everything is negativee....my problem is i am getting all joints pain but no morning stiffness and inflamation...

    1. You know your body best - if you think something is afoot then it may be time to think about getting a second opinion. Uric acid can mean a few things, gout included, so it is best to check with another physician to see what they think. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help! Keep on keepin' on, DPM

    2. Hi . I'm with Daniel and I want to share with you this article on different kinds of arthritis (including Gout, given the reference to uric acid): https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/types-of-arthritis. Hoping you can get some answers soon. Best, Richard (Team Member)
