Living alone with RA and chronic pain.

Had rotator cuff surgery in July and life has been over the top with pain. My life. Hoping for some connection and encouragement.

  1. Ask and ye shall receive, my friend! I know exactly how you feel. I have one replaced shoulder that they basically had to rig up with different parts from two different types of should implants, and another shoulder that's basically disintegrated. If I move slightly the wrong way I'm out of commission for days. It stinks and it is painful for sure. Just know that there are good days and bad days in this wretched illness, and even if the bad days last for a long time, good days do come. In the meantime if there's anything else we can do to help, just ask and remember - you are not alone! DPM

    1. Hi thank you for taking the time to reach out and share what you're going through. You may have already seen these articles and forums already, but I wanted to link you some I feel would be helpful as others in the community here have gone through the same as you.

It may be helpful to look through these posts and connect with others to see what they have done or are doing for pain. Has your doctor recommended anything specific to try? Pain meds, acupuncture, physical therapy, etc? -Effie, team member
