Rheumatoid Nodules - Share Your Pictures

RA Nodule
For those who don't know, rheumatoid nodules are firm lumps that develop under the skin that can be as small as a pea to as large as a lemon. In an effort to help inform and highlight the wide range of rheumatoid nodules, we're asking the Community to upload a picture of your rheumatoid nodules. (Please keep the Community rules in mind - we cannot make a medical diagnosis over the Internet). If you'd like, you can also share details like when you first noticed your rheumatoid nodules, any tips that have helped you manage the pain, etc.

  1. I have some on my fingers, I noticed one years before my diagnosis, my General Practitioner didn't know what it was and didn't seem concerned. I also have some on my toes and back of hands, but they don't really show in pictures.

    1. , I am sorry your GP wasn't more knowledgeable about RA nodules! It would have probably saved you some grief had he/she understood what you were dealing with. Thank you for sharing with us! Best, Erin, RheumatoidArthritis.net Team Member.
