The Water You Drink!

The Water You Drink!

Hi Everyone, I have had RA for years (Diagnosed about 9 years ago). I was on methotrexate, steroids and all sorts of medication. I was barely able to get out of bed.

However, for a few years since avoiding hard water I no longer need any medication. I have even completed an ironman - a long way from not being able to brush my own teeth in the morning.

Has anyone else noticed their symptoms change depending on the water you drink?

  1. Thanks so much for sharing. I hope others chime in if they've made changes to the type of water they're drinking and noticed a difference. Did you change up anything else in the last few years like your diet, activity level, etc? So glad to hear that you are finding relief. Wishing you continued relief ahead. 1. Thank you for your reply.
My activity level varies as does my diet. When I train for something like an ironman my diet usually improves. The only thing I am strict with to is the water that I drink.

  2. Sorry to burst your bubble, but RA symptoms wax and wane. So before people interpret this as a new magic potion, be advised that it is not.

    1. The only way to know for sure is to stop the water altogether for a few months and see if the symptoms come back. [Not worth testing!]

    2. Yep, already tried and tested. I tested it over a two year period. When I was testing it - each time I went back to hard water I started noticing symptoms within about a week.

  3. oh my.
