Which is best, eating whole grains or going gluten free?

I have seen conflicting information. Some sites say to eat only whole grains. Others say to be gluten free. Which is best?

  1. Dawnnvg,
We are glad you reached out with your question. While different lifestyle changes do work differently for everyone, I hope others in the community chime in with some support and information.
In the meantime I thought these articles would be helpful:

    1. Neither is "best" and no one can answer this question for you. You just have to try different diets to determine if any make a difference. Unfortunately, it takes a while to find out and if you change any other variables while you are trying you won't learn anything useful. Having been dealing with this since 1999 I can tell you that the ONLY way to find out if something makes a difference is to keep everything else the same while you're experimenting.
