Hi . I Know headache is a not uncommon side effect from Arava (leflunomide): (see https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/drugs-arava-side-effects). Mind if I ask how long you have been using the drug? I ask because sometimes side effects can subside as the body becomes adjusted to the drug (of course, sometimes they can get worse as well). Have you had a chance to discuss this with your doctor? It is a fine line between a drug having enough benefit to put up with a side effect and it being time to look for something else. Only you can decide where you are at on that scale. My wife, Kelly Mack (a contributor here) once discontinued a medication due to side effects (headache and stomach issues with Xeljanz in her case). There are now plenty of treatments available, so there are options (see: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/treatment/drugs-and-prescription-medications-for-ra).
