Michael Booth

Michael Booth
Michael spends most of his free time reading and writing, or adventuring outside with his wonderful wife whom he married high in the majestic mountains of Patagonia, Argentina. In his roaring twenties, he traveled as a professional acrobatic performer, stuntman, and highline slack liner. He also competed at the highest levels of amateur cycling, winning three state championships and over sixty career races. He was diagnosed with RA at the age of 33, shortly after the birth of his first son. Due to the physical difficulties, he has struggled deeply with leaving behind a life of stunts, adrenaline, and intense competition, but has found fulfillment in his love of writing and spending time with his new family. Michael received a Master of Science in Applied Psychology in 2016, and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology in 2013. He works as an adjunct professor, community moderator, and as a stepfather, dad, and husband at home. Read more
