Does anyone get lymph nodes swellings when in a RA flare up and they can stay up for weeks

  1. Hi, !

Swollen lymph nodes can be due to RA, but, it's always good to get any new or worsening symptoms checked out, just to be safe (if you haven't already done so). Here is one of our contributor's experience with RA and lymph node issues that I thought you might find relatable -- https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/living/swollen-lymph-nodes. I do hope you also get feedback from other community members that have experienced this issue.

    1. Thank you for your quick response and I was just with my new rheumy yesterday and he said impossible to me but I did mention to him this may be the one of the ways that my body reacts to flare ups as I get them every-time I have a flare up !
He is only about 28 yrs old so maybe lack of experience ect ect.
He did agree that I finally needed biologic's and finally going to get some proper help for 20 yrs of having RA and methrotexate that did not help me and kept being pushed on me as The Norm for RA.
We know our bodies and they don't always comply to regular symptoms.
We have to do so much advocating for our health and gets very frustrating at times.
