Keeps getting worse

My teeth are falling apart and I can't control this horrific nightmare.

  1. Hi . You definitely are not alone in struggling with RA related teeth issues. Our contributor Monica wrote about the issue here noting "I try to do everything right, but I still have teeth problems:" https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/living/tooth-decay. I'm also tagging our contributor because I know he has some similar experiences. Do you have a dentist who understands the autoimmune condition and teeth connection? Best, Richard (Team Member)

    1. Hi, , I just want to echo what Richard wrote and let you know you are not alone in this. Unfortunately, dental problems are not all that unusual when it comes to RA. And, I know it feels like dental issues are sometimes the straw that broke the camel's back. Like, RA is bad enough with the pain and stiffness and fatigue . . . then it comes for your smile. It's a lot to deal with. Please know the people in this community understand and you don't face this alone.

      Gentle Hugs, Erin, team Member.
