RA pain

I was diagnosed with RA 3 years ago. I am currently seeing a new rheumatologist, as the previous one just doesn't seem like she was interested.

We are trying different medication combinations, but so far it's not helping that much.

My question is, Does the pain go away with the right medication? I am so confused because both rheumatologist gave me different answers.
