Hi . On top of the excellent information for Latoya, I want to share with you that a number of years ago my wife, Kelly Mack (a contributor here), was diagnosed with a rare form of psoriasis. She developed an infection and ended up in the hospital and no one could figure out what was going on. She was released from the hospital once the infection was controlled, but she didn't get a diagnosis until she saw her dermatologist a week or so later. She wrote about that experience in this larger article on the importance of seeing specialists: https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/living/specialist-treatment. The dermatologist took one look at her condition and immediately said he thought it was inverse psoriasis (confirmed by a biopsy) where others had no idea. Hope this information is helpful and that you get some answers soon. Please feel free to keep us posted on how things are going. Best, Richard (Team Member)
