I ask because my understanding is that regular RA treatments for inflammation, therapy, maybe a night guard are standard and that surgery only becomes an option if the damage is extensive. It seems the main reason for this is the seriousness of the repair or actual replacement. Did your doctors discuss the treatments I mentioned?
