Living with OA and RA and something else.

Now my unintentional weight loss has got to serve night sweat and to see the oncology hematology Dr. to find out what is going on I've gone from 268 to 182 and its not getting better.

  1. Hi . It is certainly understandable that you are worried and good that you are taking steps to, hopefully, get some answers. Since you mentioned seeing the oncology hematologist I want to share with you our sister-site for blood-cancer, so hopefully you can find some information to help prepare for the appointment and follow what is happening: https://blood-cancer.com/. I'm also tagging my friend and contributor here , as he is also a contributor on that site. I'm sure all of this is nerve wracking, but hope you can get some answers and on the way to making things better. Best, Richard (Team Member)

  2. Oh, man, . I'm so sorry. You've been through a lot over the years, I know. And, while I know you were wanting to lose some weight, I doubt this is how you wanted it to happen.

I do hope that the doctors are able to get a firm diagnosis quickly and that it's something not super scary and something fixable!

But, if it turns out to be something super scary, know we're here for you either way.

Keep us posted, if you feel comfortable doing so.

    Gentle Hugs, Erin, Team Member.

  3. My goodness! That's a huge amount of weight to lose, and it's completely understandable to be concerned. I hope the oncology and hematology team are able to connect the dots and give you a clearer picture of what's going on. In the meantime, is there anything that has helped you feel a little better while you're waiting for answers? You're in my thoughts, Latoya (Team Member)
