I’m 82 woman and was JUST diagnosis with RA.

A blood test detected it. For 5 months, a Primary Dr., then Cardiologist, Pulmonologist and now Rheumatologist have been trying to solve my multiple aches and pains, walking difficulties and breathing difficulties with multiple tests but no definitive diagnosis. Each appointment requires a month or more wait to see the Specialist.

A blood test in Aug. reported 583.0 RF and a greater than 250 Anti-CCP Ab, and a referral to Rheumatologist. After months wait, Rheumatologist says RA in Hands in Feet and I just started Methotrexate (2 doses). Yes my hands and fingers intermittently swell and ache and my feet and legs and ankles are swollen and I take a water pill but my hips and walking hurt more but that’s not RA’s concern according to Dr. because I had a hip X-ray 11 months ago and it showed nothing unusual. Anybody with similar story.
