DMARDS

Hi all,
Question for you
What are the 4 DMARDS?
Thanks

  1. There is a wonderful explanation presented by the arthritis foundation. As you read down the page there is a great list of current DMARD's. It presents a list which is a bit longer than four.

    2. Hi . If you are interested in learning more about conventional DMARDs this article offers additional information: https://www.uptodate.com/contents/disease-modifying-antirheumatic-drugs-dmards-in-rheumatoid-arthritis-beyond-the-basics#:~:text=The%20most%20common%20conventional%20DMARDs,synthetic%20DMARDs%20or%20traditional%20DMARDs. Note: it also mentions an additional DMARD, Azathioprine, which is rarely used for RA anymore. Best, Richard (RheumatoidArthritis.net Team)
