Hi Carol~
This isn't a therapy that I am very familiar with, but when it comes to any type of alternative treatment I think the best plan of action is to start by discussing it with your doctors. Your rheumatologist, in particular, is keeping an eye on issues of long-term joint damage, which is important because this damage is irreversible. He or she can also tell you whether this type of treatment would interfere with any other treatments you may be trying.
Best of luck to you!
